About Me
Hello, I’m Ryan Zhang, an engineer focused on cybersecurity and cloud computing, currently based in Xiamen, Fujian, China.
My work centers on security operations, incident response, red-team/blue-team exercises, classified protection, and private-cloud operations. I also follow large-language-model deployment, automated operations, and infrastructure engineering.
I like starting with real problems: understanding why systems fail, analyzing why risks emerge, and turning one-off fixes into reusable experience.
This blog is my technical notebook, where I share work practices, study notes, postmortems, and reflections on technology, careers, and life.

Graduated in July 2024 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
During my studies, I participated in a social-media comment data research project at a university in Fujian. I was mainly responsible for data collection, cleaning, and analysis with Python, providing essential data support for the research.
The resulting research has been published in an SCI-indexed journal.

Technical Support Engineer

I currently provide technical support for network and information security, while also helping operate and maintain a large local private-cloud platform.
Security Operations
- Configure, change, and maintain security-device policies
- Perform regular health inspections of security devices
- Help analyze security alerts and anomalous network behavior
- Continuously improve security policies and operating procedures
Incident Response and Security Assurance
- Participate in incident response
- Organize or participate in security drills
- Provide security assurance for clients during critical periods
- Help improve contingency plans, response procedures, and technical documentation
Adversary Exercises and Classified Protection
- Participate extensively in adversary exercises
- Help inventory assets, analyze risks, and remediate security issues
